6.93 in the 1/8 last night

Took the KB Supercharged Camaro to Irwindale last night. Ran 6.93@102 with a 1.62 60'. The best 60'was a 1.56 on a hot lap with a 6.96@101.9 .

The 1/4 conversion is a 10.8x roughly at 125-127 at this point, but I will turn the car up more before Famoso this weekend. Keep in mind this is a daily driver We change the pulley, tune and tires. 15 MIN and we have a Instant 10 sec car!!!Thanks Adam

Ran the MT ET Streets..they suck. Swapping to a BFG Drag radial today. The sidewalls on the MT are too soft, and the car was all over the place. I could run tubes, but the BFGs have worked well in the past. I was launching from a idle. Thanks Adam

The car is 100 percent stock with exception of the Kenne Bell kit.
The complete mod list:
Kenne Bell 2.8 Mammouth
ST Motorsports Ice Box
M/T tires (now going to BFG) with ST Motorsports wheel adapters to run a 17in Cobra Wheel.

Thanks Adam

1.54 sec 60' on the stock converter? That's almost unbelieveable. Those 17'' wheels and MT must really help on the launch.

That's really impressive.

CORRECTION..1.56 60' , I was looking at my buddys time with a slicked down Charger R/T.He actually cut the 1.54 with a 650 RWHP Charger.
The hot lap..which was basically a 4 min wait between runs, was:
60' 1.56
330 4.554
1/8 6.96
mph 101.9

Like I said, Im going to be working on the dyno with it tonight, and leaning on her a little more. Im sure this Sunday will prove to be very exciting. I have a video from last night as well, I'll get the video up later tonight.
Thanks Adam

How long do you think it will last with that much boost? Seem's like alot for stock internals, awesome either way you look at it.

Adam, do you happen to have the vid of me racing the R/T?

BTW, the problem with the false knock was fixed so I'm ready for the spray.

Get a converter in that thing, that's another .5 off
exhaust, etc (I'm sure you know you are a shop owner)

I would experiment with stabbing it off idle versus powerbraking and see what works best since you are on the stock converter. Hope you don't go up in smoke doing it that way.

Do you have any pics of the KB installed? Are the injectors at max duty? Are you using a BAP?

The injectors are seeing about 75% at some points. As for the lauch, I do leave at an idle. As for the convertor, KB's produce so much torque, I always run 2200-2500 convertors that lock-up. I never run big stalls, as all my cars are street driven. I like my cars to have good street manners.
Thanks Adam

On the exhaust.. I will be doing a back to back test after Super Chevy. I will be doing testing for about a month on bolt ons..cams, headers, exhaust. Then Ill install heads. Last will be the full built engine. I do this with all my cars, soI know the limits of the stock parts, and what to tell my customers they can expect. Ill run her til she lets go. Thanks Adam

Are you running skinnies up front? If not, that's the reason for the car being all over the place.

When you run radials up front, combined with slicks in the back, the tires react at different speeds and the car feels like it's all over the track because the front is behaving different then the rear.

Believe me, I used to run my Supra in the 10's with that type of setup and each run was a scary event.

It's a bad idea to mix bias ply tires with steel belted radials... invest in skinnies, it could save your car (and your life).
