Audio rookie needs help designing new system

I need advice for a new system! I've spent my life soly focused on Horse power and just now started to get into Audio any one have advice on how to get my system to sound like a music studio? I don't listen to much hip hop or rap mostly rock and oldies Im thinking good components and disconnect the center speaker, sub thump adapter bracket to put 6.5's in the rear deck, two 8in subs and 2 amps.. All advice is appreciated

What is your budget? Car audio has a very wide price range.

I'd recommend ditching the center and rear speakers and focus more money and power on the fronts. That's just my $0.02.

start w/ a 'clean' H/U down to signal processors/x-overs, then dedicated amps for components & sub(s).

I would like to keep it around 1500-2000 and I would like to keep my factory mylink head unit.... Anyone have experience with alpine type R components? My brother has rainbows that sound great but I don't think I can justify spending that kind of cash when 50% of the time my radio is down listening to my exhaust

I have type R 10" woofers, and type R comp 6.5 annd 6x9 speakers in front and rear, my whole car is an alpine build, I'm extremely happy with it, speakers give off a ton of bass but I turned that down because for me my bass comes from the pups ;]
