DIY for ZL1 footwell lighting, painting interior pieces

Hello everyone, I'm currently seeking the links to help me carry out these tasks for my ZL1. Looking to purchase a good ABL red or blue footwell lighting. I cant decide between the ice blue and red. The ice blue would go along with the door lights or red to go along with the stitches in the seats. I also want to get rid of the grey in the car in the gauges and dash. How would I take it apart so that I could paint the parts? I would plastidip the parts black so that nothing but blue and red lighting from the gauges lighting up with the footwell lights and door sills. Last but not least could someone point me in the right direction for hardwiring my V1 and possible using the suction cups provided to place them on the windshield. Thank You and good day.

You could use RGB LED's and not be limited to one color.

Most of the interior parts can just be pulled out (not many screws used).

What are you looking to do with the radio?

Thank you for the links. Is there anyway I could take the part around the shift apart and faceplate for the radio. I'm painting everything in the vehicle black.

Post #2 on the following thread shows how to remove the shift knob.

Once the shift knob is removed, you can then pop out the shifter cover/plate. This link should help you.

Not sure about being able to pull the faceplate off of the radio to paint it. You may have to pull the head unit out and tape it off to do it. If you're using plastidip you shouldn't have to tape it off. You should be able to just peel the film of plastidip off the screen. It'll be a bit hard with all the knobs and buttons.
