Will these work to install lowering springs?

I want to buy lowering springs and install them myself to save money, but i have never done a set before. I understand you need spring compressors, my question is will these work for a DIY on jack stands? Are there any other tools needed for these to function? Thanks!!

What do you mean? Lowering springs isn't a proper drop? I have Pfadt springs in mind

Here is another option for you. Go to advance auto and borrow a set from them for free. This is what I did and had no issues. The ones in the auction will work just fine also. All you need is a jack and a couple of jack stands. Very simple install.
