That "Ignition Video" brought a HHUUGGEE smile to my face and a tear to my eye!

Awesome job GM, you couldn't please everyone on every spec, but I am just happy the Camaro is back!!!!!

EDIT: That fine print about the HUD just brought my happiness down a tiny bit...

It Not Lighter than the Mustang GT weights 3450 pounds
GT500's curb weight at 3920, Dodge Challenger is 4140 and the Camaro is 3860

I guess I can Buy the Camaro then start putting it on Jenny Craig (blow torch)

Mustang GT 300hp 3450lbs 11.5 lb/hp
Challenger SRT8 425hp 4140lbs 9.74lb/hp
Camaro SS 422hp 3860lbs 9.14lb/hp
Mustang GT500 500hp 3920lbs 7.84lb/hp ($42k)
Mustang GT500KR 540hp 3950lbs 7.31lb/hp ($50k+)
Camaro Z28 550hp 3960lbs 7.2lb/hp ($45k) - I can hope right?

I'll take the Camaro SS and invest in some headers, intake, a cam, exhaust and a nice tune

I'm happy with what I've seen so far(long day at work, so mostly skimmed through). Everything looks good to go, now the only thing we need is the the price. Now the colors I like so far an in know special order is the Rally yellow, Victory Red, Red Jewel Tint Coat and Aqua Blue Metallic.

I didn't see anything that said stripes were a part of the RS Package.

I saw-

HID Headlamps w/ Halo's
RS Specific 20" Wheels
Darker tinted taillights

I hope no stripes are included, I hate stripes.

We won't get prices for anything 'til fall most likely.

There is a likely possibility it will be cut for production... don't get your hopes up too much.

The stripes were on the accessory list...
You can get either the hockey stripes or the dual hood/trunk stripes.

Accessories

The new Camaro is complemented by a wide range of available dealer-installed accessories that allows customers to create a more personal car. From convenience features to appearance and performance upgrades - including 21-inch wheels4 - the accessories include the following:

* Interior trim kit - a four-piece kit offered in different colors
* Interior accessories - items include premium, "Camaro"-embroidered floor mats, sill plates and more
* Exterior detailing accessories - a variety of components are offered, from grille inserts and fuel doors to a High Rear Wing and Lower Ground Effects Package
* Stripes - heritage-inspired stripes are offered in RS style for the hood or "hockey stick" style side design
* Engine covers - available in five colors for the V6 and V8 engines
* Wheels - split-five-spoke 21-inch wheels are offered in black metallic and polished finishes
* Performance parts - numerous performance-enhancing components, including a tuned air intake, cat-back exhaust system, a Hurst short-throw shifter as well as more traditional GM Performance Parts.

That shows hood, but not trunk. I'm hoping the trunk is included though, and the roof!

I'll tell you what! I've gone through pretty much all the new posts and active threads of today and when I posted it, it seemed like a search was unnecessary because I saw no mention of it.
