I do not know the factory weights, and don't think Seibon does either.. anyone here has ways of measuring, or know the weights?

For the weekend, estimates on hoods +/- a few lbs:
Hoods - ~27lbs
Trunks - ~ 32lbs

Feel free to chime in anyone else. Camaro hoods are quite bulky compared to other hoods out there.

Had two locals who wanted to pick up a hood or another part..
Just to be clear, as in the first post, these items are not available for delivery/pickup until Mid-December, one month from now.

Seibon usually will have items available before that, but I will not know until I send them an order, and magically I get a tracking/bill of lading number from them on my desk a week or two, maybe late this month, before the actual ETA. They dont want to release the products until they have them fully stocked ready to fulfill all their open orders. They have over a dozen sold already from what I've been told by my rep, so anyone interested, get your orders in now, so you can get them first. We will not charge your card until we are sure we can get you in line

Now,

For the locals (Floridians/CFL people), I can save you up to $100 per item on shipping if we can get a large enough order to ship everything on one pallet to one location.
We could all meet up there, or drop by the office, and pick up your Hood/Trunk/Lip, etc.
So let's get a list going and I'll even try to shave a few bucks off the actual price if the order is decent enough, maybe 6+hoods/trunks, a few lips, etc. Shouldn't be that hard

We don't plan to stock Seibon parts here, sorry. We stock them at the warehouses, since they handle all the orders going out, especially for large items where the hoods are freight shipped.

Let me know if you guys have any questions, we can also do this for out of state customers as well.. if a bunch of you in New York, Texas, etc want me to ship a pallet of hoods, minimum 5 hoods and/or trunks, we can def save you some cash. And you can all have an "install meet."

Great products behind a great reputable name. It would be nice to have the weight of each product and it would be even better if somehow the Camaro's weight parts were next to it. Just a suggestion. Now, I would like to know the weight of the dove tailed trunk please. Also, what about the Z28 styled hood with the scoop intake?...like the one on the red SEMA camaro? I didn't see it on the website. Many thanks.

I think in terms of functionality, the ones here are the more logical location because the heat would dissipate toward the back so as air is pushed through as you drive. I think it is smart to have them exit at the end. JMHO.

On Leno's car, they look like air intakes but, do they have an exit area?

Not yet, as these hoods are not even released yet. But their may be a few out there. There always are.. lol
