Installing a laser blinder

Putting in a radar detector was small potatoes. Installing a M47 laser blinder seems to require more than me trying to get it right, especially considering that doing it even slightly wrong will result in hella tickets. Can any of you steer me to a good installer in the Southern California?

for the OP

California
Radar Detectors in California: Radar detectors are legal to use in California, however it is illegal to use to hang anything from the windshield with suction cups. Drivers in California might be interested in our Radar Detector Visor Holder.
Laser Jammers in California: Laser jammers are illegal to use in California.

Locals and sherriff usually use radar. Laser is very expensive and usually used by state police and Hwy patrol

They was closed because the op refused to wear a seat belt and the threads always ended up bashing him and telling him to wear it. The threads was very unproductive and nothing ever came out of them.

Detectors have been used for longer, and some states have passed legislation making them illegal under the premise that they allow crime to flourish. Generally, the police want to be able to catch people doing illegal things, and not being able to do so bothers them, so they lobby the local legislature to make things easier on cops. On the other hand, deflectors, or blinders, have not been made illegal in most places. It is important to check the local laws to be sure.

I should also add that people were pulled over for speeding years before either technology was used. As a result, consider the possibility that they will find another method to ticket you or that you will get a ticket for something else, like street racing or reckless driving.

It prevents a cop from seeing your speed using a laser. Laser signals are significantly faster than radar. Sometimes, a driver might have a chance to slow down when a radar signal gets sent. Lasers are so fast that it is impossible to significantly slow down before the gun registers the velocity of your car.

It is used to avoid tickets for speeding.

If a thread violates site rules, it will get shut down. This includes threads that are redundant. Belt chime threads most likely could all be merged into one topic in all honesty. All we would really need to discuss is the technical aspect of disabling it.

It is always important to check local laws when making this assertion.

Radar guns are far more common than laser guns. Because laser technology is so expensive, most police departments are unwilling or unable to invest in it. As a result, you're unlikely to encounter laser cops used by your local police department. On the other hand, expect county and state cops to use this since they are likely to have a higher budget.

This is a thread about laser technology. How does that fit into the topic? Try to search for a thread with a discussion on that topic.

There is no such thing as laser blinder (might be colloquial for laser shifter if that is what you meant). Laser Jammers are federally illegal in US and Canada.
