Late October would be okay with me. Mid October is tricky as I will be over in Rhode Island for a few days around the 10th and the 18th is my birthday so I will be traversing Iowa to get to all the family haha. I am down for anything. Let me know if you want some help organizing this. After the next few weeks I will have more time to help out.

I have a 76 and a 5th gen Camaro so I would agree that opening it up to all generations. So I guess if we want I can try to throw something together for a flier? Let me know.

how does the weekend of the 22 oct sound to all ? im for making it all gen camaros show gonna try and put together a few other things too ! maybee a raffle of some sort and 50/50 ill try and get something more solid by the next week ! we can probably fit around 200 cars on the lot so if you can spread the word and see if you all can get more cars too ! camaros only though let me know !

Just found out where all the Iowa camaro people are at now. I forgot my camera at home so I didn't get any pictures at vinton. HRD_WRK i don't remember talking or seeing your car there, but if I remember right you had a cover on it. Anyhow, I mostly just putting a post up here for the other camaro people I met in Vinton last week so they have a contact name.

There are three to choose from that I am aware of:

The 8th annual IZZY'S Classy car show in Springville is Saturday
I understand that there may be a cruise afterward.

The Palo Fun Days car show is Saturday 11:30am - ?
With a cruise to the lake at dusk.

Urbana Cruise starts at 4.

Weather permitting I was going to hit the IZZY show and the Palo cruise this weekend. Or it's yard work hell for me!

Sounds like the Vinton cruise went well other than the rain. We had a wedding reception in Manchester and they had a cruise that night that we went to. It was 80 miles and about two hours long, we went through ten towns or so and had a blast until I got nailed for power sliding through an intersection. It was all good; he looked at me and said “You Know Better, Get going”. The black 2LT that was clocked at 122mph did not do so well. He still made it out of there with about a $185 ticket. We had the rain too but had a good time and it got me away from the “other” side of the family sooner.

Anyone interested in going to Des Moines on Oct. 1st? We had a blast last year at the Mid Coast Road Rally. I am going and a couple of C5 members from Missouri might be making the drive up. Check out the event on the following link.

Entry is $100 dollars and it covered lunch last year and there is a party at the end in down town Des Moines. This is a fun charity all day event and you only drive as hard as you want to. We did a good job of getting lost last year and we made it a goal to throw others off the route this year. Met a bunch of great people and saw a lot of cool cars from every country and era.

I am trying to put together a C5 team that can work together to get better times. There are hidden checkpoints along the way and you can get extra points by completing tasks at meeting points. I am expecting a lot of the Rally this year after enjoying it last year.

Cruise to the Woods is pretty cool. If you look on their website they have places and times where you can meet up with people from your area and cruise in. A majority of people get to Stratford late morning and then everyone cruises up to the Fairgrounds in Fort Dodge.
