Some pics of my own car

Figured I'd share some pics of my daily driver.I bought it to drive during the warm weather and race on weekends. Last year it ran the 11.5 class with a mild H/C/converter setup(90k mile shortblock) This year I'm stepping up to the 10.5 class for some more fun.
Car - 99 Trans Am with 96k miles
Setup - C5R 427ci shortblock at 11.9-1 comp
reworked ETP heads
250 Cam
Carb/FI intake
stage 5 tranny
9" rear with 3.73 gears

Here are some picks of it going together.

For the street it will run the same tires. At the track I might just go with 11.5" tires on the stock 16" rims.

You should stop by,got a nice 418ci LS3 motor build going on for a twin 70mm APS Camaro.Would look good in a G8

I spent alot of time up there in 2001/2002 with my 01 Firehawk. Was totally different than nowadays. We would go up there on a sat or sun. and get 12-18 runs per day on a T+T. In 2 years my car did 120 1/4 mile passes. That was fun.

I love the design of them. Just hate Red but it was such a good deal for a rust free car.

how much higher does the intake/elbow sit above the fenders? are you making a custom ram air hood?

Thanks guy's.

Yes the intake is well over the fenders. As it sit's the car will need a 2.5" cowl but I won't know until the testing is done.I have 2 other 90 degree elbows to test which will change the hood requirement. The throttle body is 105mm which needs a 5" inlet pipe.

Hopefully I'll have it fairly done/running next week so I can finish it.The radiator support will be custom made with probly a 5" pipe going through it.
