Exclamation 2011 Camaro Convertible production version spotted testing on US soil for first time!

As reported on Homepage.

She's here and she's out and about! The production version 2011 Camaro SS Convertible has been spotted testing on US soil for the first time. We have previously seen the production Camaro convertible in Australia, but this is the first that we have seen this car in North America (wearing Michigan plates).

As just recently reported, the 2011 Camaro Convertible has been confirmed to be entering production in the first quarter of 2011.

I don't like the shark's fin on the trunk, but I guess there's no where else to put it.

Very cool...But is it me or do the wheels look like 19 inch instead of 20 inch? For some reason they look like a different proportion to me

Only thing I dont like is how low the windshield looks on that one... imo it should be about 3-6" higher... looks good though...

jnewberr2ssrs, yes those are 19" wheels, its a SS, no RS. Look at the badge on the front, its a silver SS.

Oh yeah wow I didn't notice the brakes either until you pointed it out...But yeah it's still pre production...If we really want to be picky about it too it has silver SS badging up front even though it's RS (look at the halo lights), but that really has no relevance to what's important...That it looks pretty sweet as a convertible - I like it at least

Looking good except it appears to be a V6 version w/ the SS front bumper cover. The exhaust is from the V6 (smaller exhaust tips), 19" wheels, V6 brake package (remember even the V8 test mules had the Brembo brakes), no rear badge.

Like everyone else the shark fin must go plus no backup sensors on the rear.

I don't like the 3rd brake light so high on the trunk. Think they could incorperate it on the spoiler. And the shark fin antena looks out of place. Just mho. Overall it does look good, just needs a few fixes.
