DJ Grilles Project ZL1

Hello everyone,

We've embarked on a project build for Camaro5 Fest 2014 featuring our ZL1 Camaro. We'll be sure to keep you guys up to date with the progression.

We start with a baseline at Irwindale 1/8 mile drag.

Even stock this is a very capable car. Dialing in our launch we managed some nice squat action. Check out the front wheel lift. Meanwhile the rear was tucking hard in the fender.

Ran 7.95s on stock tires. Stock engine sans a K&N carbon fiber short ram intake.

Our near future plans include further progressing the power output, handling capabilities, and aesthetic appeal. You'll have to wait and see just how we go about that.

We'll also be posting event coverage, more at: www.facebook.com/pages/DJGrilles

Thanks for looking!

2013 ZL1 Teardown for 3 stage Matte White Pearl

This was a month ago, so tomorrow you will see the finished paint!
3 stage matte white pearl exactly like 2014 Z28 reveal color, pulled all doors, bumpers, handles, mirrors, shark fin on the roof, ditch moldings, all the jambs are done and engine compartment. Pulled the door sills as well, this shows them taped but they eventually were taken off.

Featuring a DJ grille, GT Corsa. More mods to come.

Hope you like!

That turned out incredible IMO. I absolutely love that pearl white color, I wish it was a standard option!

Easily one of my favorite cars on Camaro5!

It looks like the lower fits over the factory bottom but the upper doesn't. Looks awesome. Is the top available to use my sweet aftermarket bowtie ???

Thanks! We have seen our customers successfully mount a bowtie to our grille, mounting one would be up to the end user.

Our DJ ZL1 now sits on Forgiato multi-piece wheels. Nicely compliments our GT Corsa grille don't you think?
