Cool 1968 Camaro Pro-Touring Build

Here is a 1st Gen project we are working on right now. The car is set up on a a full SpeedTech Performance Track Time Chassis/Suspension package. It is riding on Forgiato Martellato 20x9s wearing Pirelli 255/30/20s in the front and 21x11s wearing Pirelli 355/25/21s in the rear. Braking in taken care of by Wilwood 6 piston calipers in from and 4 piston calipers in the rear. Under the hood is a 700hp 565ci Chevy big block backed up by a Viper spec T-56 6-speed and Ford 9 inch rear end. The interior is being retro-fitted from a 5th Gen.

Sick! I love these wheels on the 1st and 5th Gen Camaro's ! My cousin just bought some for his El Camino . These wheels are very popular just from what I can tell!

How easy was the dash and center console fitment? I'm doing a 68 restomod now, and I think I like that look better than just custom gauges in the factory cluster. I'm already planning on a custom center console.

WoW! that blue is just phenomenal It really pops. Even the underside of the car is going to look as good as the top side. Great build and I am also looking forward to the end results. Please share many, many, many, many, many, many photos...

Very nice. Love to see another persons vision on a Pro-tour 1st Gen. I've been considering a 5th Gen interior pices in mine mixed with, I think its Martinez, interior panels. Defininitely interested in what tou do to this car.

Curious why go with a BBC?

A lot of the parts are factory 5th Gen parts with little to no modification. The dash is a one off custom piece though, not a factory GM dash. We actually sculpted it out of clay and then built it based off that.

That is what the customer wanted. We tried to push him in the direction of a LS based beast but he had his mind set on it.
