GM Track Pack for V6

As I was reading the recently released specs on the Mustang v6, something occurred to me. Ford only seems to let the mags test "track pack" models. The 2011 V6 Mustang will now have a track pack. Does anyone think GM will drop a track pack on the Camaro (V6 and V8). Seems like upgraded intake, exhaust, suspension, and some weight shaving could change the game a little.

I haven't really investigated the whole "track pack" thing... but for me I would rather pick and choose my upgrades rather than having the car company do it for me... and there is a good chance I could do it for less money... I guess the one advantage would be the warranty...

I have no doubt that, properly researched, and aftermarket setup will be faster and cheaper. I just like the idea of keeping the car all GM and the warranty is certainly a concern for me. I don't really know of any shops that install aftermarket stuff, so I will probably be using my local dealer anyway for anything that I do.

Okay, you convinced me. I just ordered an Air Raid CAI. Nothing like an impulse buy!

I'm sure they will. Too rich for my blood though. Love to see somebody do it.

There won't be factory weight savings in a 'track pack' unless its a few lbs from things like radio delete. Anything significant is likely to be part of a new model entirely.
