Unfortunately I think they are pursuing it. Didn't one of the releases on the 21st mention it? I believe it at least mentioned 'fuel filler doors' would be options.

I think they can still make it look ok on the sides. I hope they offer it in brushed aluminum and not chrome. The Challenger's "chrome" cap looks cheap.

From what I hear the structure of the Zeta platform won't allow that.

I remember them saying that, too. I think it's a bad idea.

While we're arguing old topics—why did GM put in a B-pillar? I'm outraged!

are people not allowed to make criticisms...i've never encountered such an oversensitive fanbase...

one thing you have to learn somebody is always going to criticize or nitpick...heck i'm sure Leonardo Da Vinci had his critics...

you can't make everyone happy and those who aren't should be allowed to vent

I don't think you were a member during the legendary gas-cap wars...
It's developed into somewhat of an inside joke at this point.

Yup, its actually that these forums are so friendly we can bring up past arguments in jest.

And I swear, if those rear vents aren't cut out...

While we're on the sharkfin topic...how easy WOULD it be to lose that?

i think they have aftermarket rubber inserts for those. I've seen them on other cars before and it's a pop out, pop in insert type of deal. I could be wrong, but it doesn't look that hard to do at all.
