2014 Camaro SS Dipped

First time plasti-dippin, bottom lip edges a little jagged but the hood stripes I got down:P. I tried to plasti dip one of the mirrors but ended up not getting full coverage on the inside part of the mirror plus some small specs of overspray which was a pain to remove... I'm thinking to tinting the tail lights with tint vinyl...

Sweet! Much more agressive stance! I'm really liking the '14 front end now.

The front looks way better in person than in the stock website pictures. I was a little skeptical about how good the tail lights would look but they're starting to grow on me...69 style ain't too bad

How did you pop them off? Are you talking about the center piece of bow tie

Wouldn't it have been easier to just remove the bowties and paint them rather then tape up the whole front end?

Try plastidipping the tail lamps. I did and I love the look. [IMG][/IMG]

While I may like the look of smoked, tinted, or dipped rear lights.. I absolutely want to be seen on my stupid long commute. Too many idiots as it is.

It's actually really hard to get the bowtie off the 2014 front, requires grille removal I believe!

I'm glad! It's really easy to do, just dont get any on the lower grille trim, it's hard to remove off rough plastic.

I've been told from my friends that my original LED taillights before the tint was "blinding". I could illuminate people's entire car interior from braking. Just don't tint too dark!

It was dipped but I didn't like the texture so I went an extra step and scuffed it and rattle canned it flat black! Be sure to remove the spoiler if you do paint it, you won't get full coverage with it on.

Now you need to do something about that center brake light

Honestly that is the one thing I really hated about the new rear end... I loved the tail lights and that Z/28 diffuser.

The badge looks 100% better black than gold IMO

Especially on a white Camaro

Nice work OP

I'll take some more shots later today

Only problem is that they get textured somehow and are flat. I clearcoated after the VHT but it doesn't look that glossy. Somehow I managed to get a very glossy look on my friend's X3 so I will redo mine.
