Good Expierence at Medved in Denver

Hey guys, been reading all the issues with dealers on this site. Thought I'd let you know that we stopped into Medved for a Camaro and was pleasantly surprised. The had 12 cars in stock. The salesman was very easy to get along with and went through all the details of the car. He really catered to the wife, guess he knows who really makes the decisions! They took supplier pricing with no problem.

Very enjoyable expierence, just passing it around to the rest of you. Jerry.

I was the second or third person to take delivery from Medved in Colorado. They were very decent and respectful to me as well. They kept their word with pricing at MSRP from the point of me ordering to delivery. Other than the finance manager being tied up with another two customers the whole process would have taken less than an hour including the test drive.

Ya they are good to work with. I wanted an ABM 2ss/rs A6. This was just right after they discontinued the ABM color. They did not have any on hand, and could not be ordered any longer. So I went ahead and ordered an IBM 2ss/rs, Black interior, no sunroof, midnight silver rims, white rally stripes. Made the deal with supplier pricing was satisfied. So I went home to wait patiently for my Camaro. In the mean time 2 weeks later I was on there web site and saw an ABM 2ss/rs A6. I called to get status. They said that they were trading another dealership vehicles. The car was not at the dealer yet. we talked and made a deal that if I wanted the ABM to come down and make a contract. Same deal supplier pricing. Which I really wanted the ABM so I went down made a contract. They did make a stipulation that when the car came in if I didn't like it they would not hold me to the deal, and that I could still wait for the order I made on the IBM camaro. All in writing on the contract. The ABM came in I liked it, took it home, and rarely drive it freaking weather. So ya they are good to work with. Tell them you want to talk with Mike if you are inclined to do any businees with the dealership. I am very pleased with his honesty. Honesty from a car dealer you say. Ya he's a good guy. Forget his last name, but he is the Dago. Now the finance manager Steve Porter he is a bonehead, but he's just a kid.
Also the IBM 2ss/rs had a born on date of 02/13/2010 order #NRGGDB,
VIN 2G1FK1EJ8A9192859. This car should still be going to MEDVED if you are interested. I will go down to check it out when she comes in, Hopefully I won't have any regrets, but I do like the ABM better. I think

Hey Jimmy, did they charge you the extra $1350 for freight on the ABM? Jerry.

No they didn't. There was an earlier deal that I tried to make with them where they were getting another ABM from some other dealer. They did try to charge me I beleive was $1350. I told them no way so ordered the IBM. So no on the car I bought which they traded for there was no extra shipping.

I would make sure to do some heavy negotiating with Medved every one of the Camaro's they have listed, currently 14, are all at least $1000 over MSRP.

Maybe I just went in to Medved on a bad day, but they seemed really shady. The quote for preferred pricing was wrong, they also tried to charge $499 for dealer fees instead of the $75 that goes with preferred. The taxes they quoted were wrong. For my trade in, they had the same model/year/trim level of car that I do, mine had 8K less miles and a few other add-ons theirs didn’t. They offered me $12500 less than the price they had their car for sale. I don’t know if they try to pull this crap with everyone, or if some people just don’t know what the real value numbers are for MSRP, preferred, invoice.

Ya I suppose when you get a trade involved thats where things can go south. But, I must say that in my case (no trade) they did sell me the car for supplier (I'm not sure what preferred pricing is) and removed the $1400 freight charge they had. They were up front with me on $499 dealer handling (markup). I got everything in email from sales manager and when I went to pick up the car they did what they said they would do.

Did you give them the GM Supplier form with the necessary codes to get supplier discounts?
Jerry.

They never ased for my supplier number, but I did have it ready. I had been working with the sales guy for a month or so, I told him where I worked so I think he already checked to see that I qualified.

I agree they will throw the bait, and see if they can reel you in. I could have done without the dumber than dumb B/S they tried to throw at me from the beggining. However preffered pricing or supplier pricing whatever is spelled out plain and simple. If they want to sell, which they do they will honor the programs.
Just tell them up front this is what it is. It will save your time, and their time.
Then watch the finance dude. Dot the I's and cross the T's. He will try to sell you a butt wax if you are willing. ( CHRIS ) #@&*^%$ kid.
For the most part it was a good experience on my deal. It was just the B/S from the beggining. If you were willing they would sell you a camaro for $100, 000

If you buy from them, and you are doing program pricing you will have an authorization code. Make sure it is on the paper work, and make sure they fill out the paper work when you close otherwise they will take up your time to come in and sign the papers which should have been filled out during the deal, which again the program procedure spells out. ( CHRIS $%&*&^* Kid )
