This modification requires permanent and irreversible modification to the bumper if you do not feel comfortable with this please do not order this item.

Does anyone make a kit for the 2011 2SS, to be able to put real fog lamp bulbs in the stock runing light mount holes and have the ability to turn them on/off with a seperate switch?

Hello,

Have a few questions regarding your hella kit for the 2010+ Camaro fog light.

THIS ONE

Can you please explain how you have to modify the light bezels in order to install these?

What is the color of the light? Is it the same as the OEM HID's?

For the xenon option, what color range matches the factory RS headlights?

Are these plug and play with the factory harness?

How do you route the optional switch?

Thanks!

Todd.

1) See Here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=176

2) No, it is halogen so it would be the same color as your current DRL unless you select the HID option.

3) 4300K

4) If you select the HID option it has its own harness.

5) How do you route it through the firewall? There is a existing rubber grommet in the firewall that the wires will route through.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Please refer to the instructions that were included with the kit. It goes into detail of how to mount the projectors.

Hello, the kit likely did not come from us. We do not ship screws with our kits. If you can email me your order information justin@aacstyle.com I will look into this for you.

Please AACstyle,

I live in Brazil and my Camaro 2SS is a non-RS, I've updated the headlights to RS OEM lamps.
But the fog melted when I installed a 6000k HID kit, I think because the bulbs were not the correct.

Now I would like to install a new HID kit and I need to buy a new projector fog. Your projector its the best so far. BUT I have some doubts first.

-This kit fits in the same slot 2SS with OEM fogs or you will need to cut or make any other adjustment? So please confirm to me if I will only need to change the fogs, or if I will have to adapt by changing my bumper. And I have look at the pictures, but it do not have much close ups do see that fit clear.

-The original bulbs of the RS headlamp are 4300k, i wish to change it for 6000k bulb, this bulb will work with the OEM headlight ballast RS or i need to change the ballast too?

-I also need a wiring kit for my headlights, because the non-RS connector is different from the RS one, i had to adapt them to work, and they are flashing. You have this wiring kit? if not the Diy5gen have; Could you order it for me and send them along with the kit fog?

Normally i used to pay international orders with Western Union, because Paypal its not recognized by my country as a valid way of payment, so that leave me with WU. And for shipping normally USPS fastest priority urgent express ever shipping method, like 7 to 10 days.

Thank you and sorry for my English.
If you prefer you can send me an e-mail to niltonrb@hotmail.com

Thank you again.!

You only need to change your fog light, you do not need to change anything with the bumper.

You only need to change the bulb and ignitor (D1S they are adapted together in one unit)

Your car was originally a non-RS and you installed RS headlight, is that correct?

Yes, i figured that, but my doubt is about the fitting and how this new fog light will be hold, like its by screws? the same that hold the OEM fog?
