Saw it had the G8 GXP rear gears, and like they said, it certainly doesn't need them with the additional torque from the s/c. Weird GM put them in there and didn't tell them.

I guess it was just an oversight. They were tesing the car with the 3.73 gears, SLP asked for a test car so GM gave this to them without returning it to stock.

not really, at least not for a magazine test. These are the same people that got an 11.6 from a ZR1 Corvette. Oh, and I read the article at edmunds and the 0-60 was without the 1 ft rollout. With it they got 3.9s

and found those rims along with a few other parts listed with prices and item numbers. This website is a bit old, but I hope it helps. I kinda wanna get the cold air intake that GM makes. I assuming that with it, there would be no possible way to void the warranty.
