Snow in WNY!!

So...I'm sure at some point you've all heard about what terrible snow we get in the North East part of the
Country...some of you may have even read/seen/heard that the Buffalo area in New York gets POUNDED
with the white stuff...

Well...yeah, we do. Not every day of the year, but occasionally, we get this:

The first two are of a major highway in the area, the I-190. And the second two are of a major road, and
the final two are of an intersection near my work...the second to last is of the red light in the intersection,
and the very last is the Sunoco gas station no more than 10 yards from my position. I was NOT MOVING.

Enjoy!

The Cobalt handled it like a champ by the way, and I was only sporting All-Seasons...

I find it strange that anyone would live in Buffalo, New York, just cause of the snow.

Course I can say the same for Clevland and anything east of it.

Being where I am, most stuff skips right past up and slams Clevland and beyond.

The way the lake is shaped its almost like a force field for us.

This does make me appreciate the sunny 60 degree weather we had here this afternoon!

Unhappy

Yeah, we do get hit with it in Jamestown (60 miles away from B town) and i could barely see more than a block and a half down the main road that runs past the wal mart and the mall next door to it. Here in west NY we have 3 seasons, fall, winter, spring, we skip over summer and go back to fall .

What is the latest you have seen snow in WNY?

So I'm sitting at my desk looking outside (man, I should get back to work) and seeing snow falling in April kinda turns my stomach. So this got me thinking...what is the latest you have seen snow in WNY? Now I'm not talking about the ice mountains in parking lots, but honest to goodness snowfall.

So THIS is what my grandpa and grandma used to bitch so much about in Buffalo.

I've never been there but my adoptive family have told me about it since I was 5.

When the forcast gets bad in Buffalo, they run out of milk, bread, and Genny "screamers" .
