My camaro saga begins .....

Well ladies and gentlemen as we move close to the fall of 2008 and I have a camaro (or so...). I would just like to start a thread first thanking you all for the knowledge I have learned from you guys in this past year.

Second, I would like to just give a sort of layout of what is going to be happening to my camaro in the next year. The first thing to happen is an engine swap, in which I am getting ready to order. Second is an LSD/98+ brake swap. Third is the front end conversion. Fourth is paint, My color of choice is NBM with silver racing stripes. Fiffth, getting some tires for the SS rim I have.

After all this I'm sure i'll be about tapped out, but to finish it off I hope to acquire some clear corners, fill-in's for the berger, and an SS Spoiler. After all this I'll be racing my dad in my moms mustang at a local track

I'm gonna rebuild a 3.8 out of my 98 junk car and use that, I would like a V8 but its not needed for me. So hopefully in about a year i'll have a Hi performance 3800 under there maybe pushing 330 N/A Hoping for 550+ with a S/C but im not sure at the moment. I have everything I need for now minus a few gaskets and the time lol. College is startin tomorrow so i'll have less time then but by DEC 08 I hope to have the car painted with the 3800 in and driving!

Tford we have a couple of v8 guys on the v6f-body.net forum, so if you would like to join, you're more then welcome to

I'd love to see pix documenting the rebuild. A story like that is priceless when someone is checking out your car....(I love seeing those picture albums at Super Chevy Show and other car shows showing the complete overhaul or frame off resto)

As soon as I get started Tag, I will take pictures, it's been put on hold since I had to pay 350 for college books. But will resume hopefully by thanksgiving.

My hopes are to send the car off to be sprayed while rebuilding my engine and have both done at once. so the engine can go in within a day or two of the car coming back, then to put the Black SS rims on it and I'll be set to go for a while lol.

The new forum just got a sponsor so a overhaul is taking place today. Our sponsor also has V8 Parts.

I really would like some of you guys to join up!! It'd be nice to see some familiar faces over there from here!

Will

Hey nice truck!!!!! Are you a member of Rangerpowersports forum? if not you should join. What engine is it? 2.3, 3.0, or 4.0. Or have you modified it to fit a V8 in there lol
