V6 Dyno results collection

Folks:

I got curious about what other folks were getting on their dyno runs, what other folks saw as "stock", etc, so I read through the "V6 Dyno Results" thread and plopped it all down in a spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet, if you're curious, is here - > http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...2Wm40V2c&hl=en

It's pretty vanilla right now, but I'll work on appearance next.

I'm sure that I've missed some folks, or perhaps written down something incorrectly. Or,perhaps you don't want your information included in this spreadsheet. In any case, PM me with changes you'd like for your data and I'll make sure it gets updated.

One thing I'd like to do if there's a call for it is to add a URL on the spreadsheet that points to the graphic link of the pull.

All in all I hope that this becomes a resource for the community to see what others are getting based upon real-world experience, not just manufacturer's claims.

This makes it much easier to see what the gains will be in the future with mods of the Camaro5 group.

Awesome!!

Also, my car is an auto, pulls were done in M4. It was 61* out. Figured you might want to plug those in too!

Waiting...

My hat is off to all of you for "taking the plunge" into the mods for the V6 Camaro! I am the proud owner of a 2010 LT1 RS Package with manual transmission, inferno orange with black stripes. It is the most fun driving I have had in a LONG time!

I have paid close attention to what all has been done to various owner cars. I understand doing mods for different sound, looks and performance. I guess maybe I am too practical or just plain want my buck to go as far as it can when doing various mods.

I have reserved myself to wait and see what is next. Seems to me the gains from exhaust whether axle or cat back, even some with headers, and CAI are not getting great results for the money spent. The gains I am seeing, unless tuned, are modest at best so I will wait.

I also bought the entended warranty so want my car covered without questions if something goes wrong.

Just my nickels worth and thank you all again for sharing in your Gen 5 Camaro experiences.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Here's a strange one.

I'm in Northern Virginia- Ambient temp today of 66 degrees, with about 50% humidity- not sure about elevation, but low.

We did 4 pulls- with the deviation not being more than one click in either direction for HP, or TQ

The averages:

223 hp
245 tq

Dyno was a Dynapack

Car is an M6 with 8900 miles.

The strange part was that as soon as the car hit 5200rpm, the HP curve flat-lined perfectly for all four runs....

Car is stock- with the exception of the exhaust which is essentially a MTR V1.

Injen, custom exhaust and tune coming if someone can suggest a tune that will actually change something on this car.

I'll try and upload the slip tomorrow.

seems everyone is getting some odd results on this dynapack thing... you HP and TQ are reversed from what I would call "normal".

Ok... about a tune... the thing is the stock tune for the car is very highly optimized from the factory... there simply isn't any room for improvement... so it not a matter of aftermarket tunes not changing thing, because they can change things, it's just there is no reason to change things unless you have a mod that requires a change to your tune..

How about when I get my Injen installed, and finish my custom exhaust? What could a tune even do?

My main concern will be pointed out when I upload the dyno sheet... from 5200rpm on, the HP flat-lines.

:(

Nope... no need with the Injen... at least that is my opinion...

As for the 5200 RPM... yeah, those Dynapacks seem to be odd when it comes to our cars at least...

No joke, had my 1LT manual on a mustang yesterday, it pulled 266TQ / 282 HP with airiad intake and MRT 1.0s. These stick cars are STRONG.
