Here's what a slow lap at the autocross looks like. The thump at the beginning is Danny Popp jumping in the car to ride along. Without him to tell me where to brake and accelerate, I would have been even slower. My next 2 runs were faster but I didn't have the camera on.

We have a few things going on this weekend.

Cars and coffee at Tinseltown Saturday 9am-12

FCCC meet at foodlion on racetrack rd 4pm-7

C5 cruise aug 12th Sunday at 12:30 pm (more info to come)

The autoX was a lot of fun and I'm ready to try it again. I ran on Friday morning when they were having problems with the timing system so I don't really know what my exact times were. I know there was one cone on the back curve I had real problems getting around on the last 2 runs. I missed it both times but I killed a ton of speed to do it. The first run was 50 something seconds and the last 2 were in the 47 range.

The guy riding with me on the first run ran a 32 second lap in a ZL1 later in the day.

I'm planning on making Cars and Coffee Saturday morning, but not sure if I'll make Saturday afternoon. I'm down for whatever we decide to do on Sunday.

One more thing. I saw a set of wheels at the fest I really like for my car. What do you guys think?

I liked these wheels to and the whole stance this car has, I think he said lowered 1inch, running 315's on the rear, really nicely done, you should go for it

tru dat hopefully next time i come back in town ill have my APR front splitter on. by the way anyone know anybody that wants a street scene body kit or a BMR strut tower brace. both are new and have never been installed the reason why im trying to get rid of them is i wanna run a top mounted supercharger and the body kit wouldnt look good with my splitter
