It's been a busy month but we found one morning to take a drive out in the countryside. Took some back roads out to Forestburg and back. Saw lots of motorcycles and I found a small pumpkin patch.

I think I need to carry a ladder with us so I can get up higher and show off these rally stripes better.

Some other Taz toyz

Since the Adam's products did a fantastic job on the Camaro, I thought I would give them a try on my bikes. With help from Dylan, I purchased the right polish to use on both bikes (painted metal and plastic gas tanks).

Mind you, we bought our (hubby's not pictured) bikes 3 years ago now and they have only seen Plexus spray on them. Since most power tools don't like me, I opted for the doing the detailing by hand, otherwise known as a hand job

Both windshields came out looking like brand new with the help of the Clear polish. Both tanks and fenders got the clay bar treatment, Swirl & Haze polish, Revive polish and then a final coat of the Buttery wax.

I think my next Adam's order is going to include the Metal polish as the old chrome cleaner we have just doesn't stand up to the rest of the Harley shine now.

It took 3 hours each to clean and detail the bikes so the sun was setting when I took the images. I would have taken more pics today but they already got dust on them overnight. Anyway, my babies will only get the best from now on, Adam's!

Decided to give the TLC treatment to one of my hubby's bike and again the results came out great. The carbon fiber now has a deeper shine that makes them pop. I must say that I can still see some light scratches that probably will only come out with a power tool.

It's almost time to wash the camaro again

Hubby's Duc

All clean and ready to go!

Hey FF that Dr Pepper wall is over in Highland Village on FM 407 (north of DFW airport). I guess it's not as long as a trip for you down to Dublin.

Thanks guys for the nice words!

So here's a treat I got yesterday at a bike show

Pretty cool hey!

The comment made at the award ceremony was 'after a month of detailing, first place goes to...' Well little did they know I only spent 3 hours cleaning but my secret weapon was the Adam's products.

Funny thing is when the judges were going around to each bike, they were staring at my hubby's (which was next to mine) and were probably scratching their heads why this bike didn't have an entry number on it since it was just as fine looking. No doubt he would have placed too if he wasn't being a party pooper.

Looks like I'll have to post some pics later this week of my replacement camaro. Ohh nothing bad happened to the white one, but I was able to get a great deal on New Year's Eve for an automatic.

Here's some quick pics of the replacement camaro. Long story short, it took the end of 2010 to find a really good deal to trade in the white one considering the small budget my hubby put on the condition. He actually thought no dealer would ever come down enough or give us enough to make this happen.

Well, I couldn't find an exact copy that was in state, but for me this cyber gray was good enough. Heck, I even got in on the accessory incentive program which gave me $1500 to get rally stripes, floor mats, heritage grill and engine cover. This helps bring some color to the car until I can get more funds for additional mods.

Yes the white camaro was kick ass looking but that's pretty much all I got to do since I never got comfortable with the manual. To me it's a major relief to just get in it and go without worrying about hills, traffic and thinking about shifting/clutching. Let's just say it was an experiment that didn't work out like planned.

So since it sat on a dealer's lot for half a year it was in desperate need of some TLC. After 3 1/2 days of detailing here it is. I'm hoping for some sunshine this weekend to get pics with the stripes installed.

I love the metallic paint and still wish I ordered the aqua blue way back

I do miss the orange interior, but some day I'll get new seats, inserts and door panels that have either orange or copper color.

Got my freebie stripes installed along with the nicer mats. The heritage grill and engine cover is waiting for the hubby to install.

Yesterday I went over to Big Worm Graphics in Fort Worth where David was very accommodating to my goofy request of a little something for the dash. Also had him put on some enhancement to the gill area. Super guy and company!

Free Stripes

Free Mats

Gill Enhancement

Dash Memento

I can finally say - I love my car!

Laps for Charity at Texas Motor Speedway with the DFW Camaro Group, Yahooooo!

Also,
I did the fuse pull back before we had a Super Bowl snow storm and my milage went from 16-something to 20-something. When I find the pics I'll post them.

This is the only other pic I took the other night so I decided to play with the colors in Photoshop.
