V6 wheel options

fist things first.....
This is my first post and I have been reading everyones posts for along time now. So I just wanted to say first that I feel like I know all of you so I thought I should make an introduction. Hi....

Now on to my reason for this post. I was wondering, because I haven't read anyone else bringing this up. The width of the V6 tires being only 245's... I know many of you are planning to get the V6. Me to Frankly. I currrently have 245's on my V6 and I can light them up with ease. yeah it came w/ 215's. But after the mods I have done to my car they were to narrow. and I'm only putting out about another 30-50hp. (That's a guess). with the new one putting out aprrox. 300+. I cant imagine those being adequate. What do you guy's and gal's think of the possibilty of being able to get the V8's (275's for the rear) tire package for the V6. Thanks.

probably should've put this in the tires and brakes section...

You might be able to get some SS rims from someone who upgrades theirs, but I don't know if they'll release a stock package with the bigger wheels/tires.

In the survey that a lot of the members here took, they should 17"s to 20"s so you might be able to order a bigger set of "premium wheels" as most cars put it, but I'm not sure.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of stock SS rims on ebay from people upgrading to aftermarket, and no doubt GMPP will offer some.

Yeah I took that survery and the site said there was an error... Urgghhh.

Knowing that it is too early to say what options ther are going to be and going with what we do know. that us V6 buyers only get 245's anyone mildly dissapointed with that?

My old car had 195/14's. My current car has 215/16's ( I think?)...

My new car will have 275's or wider...

Took mine to the tire store they said 245's would fit just fine on my rims. Did it without hesitation. I Want 275's. just dont know if I want to go v8, if thats the only way I can get them without going custom.
