Thumbs up Phastek 700XS Camaro SS build - 590 RWHP - dyno sheet

Quote:
It was a super easy build, pretty much all "bolt-on" stuff in my opinion. We were able to get 590 rear wheel horsepower (corrected, STD) on a 91 octane pump gas tune at only 7 psi. This same combination should be good for up to 650 at the wheels with a smaller pulley/more boost. We also left the heads unported on this build. Just a mild PS1 cam to go with the Magnacharger.

Here is the build list:

- Magnacharger Supercharger @ 7 psi
- Roto-Fab Cold Air Intake
- Phastek PS1 Camshaft & Springs
- ARH 1 7/8” Long Tube Headers
- Magnaflow 2.5” Axle-Back Exhaust
- Spec Stage 3+ Carbon Clutch
- Hurst Short Throw Shifter
- KW Variant-3 Adjustable Suspension
- Phastek Custom C51R 20” Wheels by CCW
- Phastek Carbon Fiber Body Kit & Spoiler
- Phastek Flat Black Hood & Side Stripes

here's the link to the post with a video and pictures of the car

Do you think the bottom end will hold up? Reason I ask is my car is almost finished and will be around 600 rwhp.

We installed a Spec 3+ Carbon clutch which will hold this power level with ease.

The magnacharger is still running it's stock 7 psi boost level. The stock LS3 bottom end can take much, much more abuse than what this build threw at it!

Thanks,

From listening to guys on this board they seem to think anything over 600 is instant death.

Horsepower numbers that high used to scare people, but these days, it just depends on how you get there. Sure, a stock motor and tune with a 300 shot of nitrous, iffy. But bolting on a Magnacharger with a cam is a walk in the park for these LS3's!

Thanks guys, the engine bay looks super-clean with your Cold Air Intake and the modified factory engine cover!

Awesome! Yup, we took care of the transportation for this customer as well. However... he mentioned that there was a guy with a Shelby running around his neck of the woods that he wanted to spank on.... I sure hope it isn't you with the Shelby!!

The stock axles will hold up just fine. The only time you might have an issue with the stock axles on the 2010 Camaro is at the track with sticky tires and really hard launches.... On the street, you will roast the tires down way before you have any axle problems!

As always, your kits look awesome on every car we put them on! Heck, we can't even hardly build a car anymore without putting one of your kits on, once the customer see's what all you have to offer!
