yes, The one in the pic is mine.

Im thinking about pulling the engine out of it now. Enough people gave me crap about buying a V6.... Now I want to stuff a LS9 V8 638HP engine in it.

Just keep the V6

It's an awesome V6, that's what I'm getting.

304HP, awesome gas mileage, and nice and cheap.

I would keep it in if I were you, it's got a lot of power. You could always buy a supercharger when they come out.

The V8 won't fit. There is a thread discussing swapping engines a couple weeks old. Problem is with the 2 different ways the v6 and v8 are mounted on the sub frames. For you to do it, you would probably put in another $15k in easily and thats on the low end. You also would have to do drastic changes to the frame and body, so I wouldn't do it.

Enjoy the v6 and its benefits and the guys who are giving you are hard time, don't understand the new engine and are also jealous that you have a Camaro period. You can always put a Supercharger or Turbo in and have fun

The engine Im talking about adding is 20K+ anyway stock. I don't think it'd be hard to do. I'll go glance at the thread though.

Yea were just worried it won't fit. It might not.

A 4k supercharger will get you an extra 100HP.

If you sunk 20k in to hopping up the v6... you'd show all the people giving you crap what's what!

Turbos, exhaust, computer work, cam... heads... uh-huh.

If you sink 20K into a V6 it ain't going to hit the 1000HP that the LS9 is getting with twin turbos. Hennessy preformance is puting out a new 850 and 1000HP version.

Not that I want turbos, I would probably stay with a supercharger if I was going to do it.

If im going for power im going all the way.

The comments about a v8 not fitting, I really doubt that this is true. You would have to cut engine mounts and make your own. Gm would not make 2 different frames. Btw you should not do any exterior mods and make it a sleeper.
