Amazing that someone walked away and sad there was a crash like that in the first place.

This is not really an uncommon thing with Camaro drivers, unfortunately.

The only difference between now and 1968 is that the driver is alive.

Use your brains out there, folks and keep it on the track.

This just shows how well these are built, safety wise. The guy walked away!!
Yeah, poor, poor Camaro. I posted this in the "Camaro in snow" thread this morning. Kind of wish the ahole had some non life threatening injuries considering what he did to that poor Camaro. RIP Camaro.:(

How long did it take the EPA to issue the permit to get near the driver's seat?

Camaro Splits After Hitting Pole, Driver Walks Away

Check out this story...

First off, sorry if this is a re-post.

Second, I don't know if it was pure luck, the safety features added to these new cars that save lives...or both.

But, this is one lucky dude.

I could be wrong, but based on the damage and how it's a city street, I'd say he was going WAY over the speed limit. Lucky to be alive, but let's hope this guy doesn't kill someone else next time.

If there was a passenger in that car... the passenger would have been dead.
Look where the pole is!

NO KIDDING! I was on the edge of my seat! Back and forth, back and forth...driving me nuts! OT was killer!!! We were supposed to go to that game, but called it off due to the horrible season. If they are playing well next season, we'll head up there during winter.
