Finally got around to installing my new aac oracle plasma afterburners this week.

If your going to do this install def go buy an Oscillating cutter. Much easier than the dremal. Get in as tight as you can to the black housing when cutting and wear safety glasses.

MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THE INSTALL was the lack of help or instructions with this new ver 2 design. There was no instructions included for the new squared off design making it much harder to line up the plasma light on the lens. Emails to JDP went days without an answer and was told they never did this type of ver 2 install..

When you open up the tail lghts you will see what i mean about the afterburners lining up correctly. Maybe some type of template would work better but i basically installed one side and took measurements to transfer to the other side.

One thing i need notice on the install was the double sided tape on the afterburner lifted after i pressed it down due to the tape not being thick enough to make up for the square design. I did prep the area good clean and dry beforehand. I ended up buying super glue and finally got it stuck down. Just hoping it doesnt lift back up.

I would prob say iam sorry i didnt buy the ver 1 afterburners as they look much easier to install where they follow the lens curves.

Just thought i would post this up for future buyers. But a template and thicker tape would help better
