Brake Calipers

Need some help from you guys.....

As you can see from the sig I'm driving a RY 2SS/RS

I am planning on painting my factory calipers with the G2 kit but I'm still undecided on the color... I will eventually be going with black wheels with a chrome lip

So my question is....

Black with Yellow Brembo Stickers?
Red with Black (or white) Brembo Stickers?
or Yellow with Black Brembo Stickers?

What do you guys think?

I don't think you can go wrong matching the calipers to the car, unless the car is black or another dark color, then I would go with red.

I think Yellow Caliper would look killer on your baby!

The Black rims and black stripes would compliment the black "brembo" stickers, while the Yellow calipers would look great on a yellow car. My humble .02.

If you get me a picture of the car...I can do a quick color swap for you to give some idea of what the three options might look like.

I just finished mine.I color matched mine to my car it took about 2 weeks to get the paint from G-2. My car is ABM, they matched it perfectly. I really like the metallic in the paint. I also went with a silver metallic sticker. I don't think you can go wrong no matter what you choose. I will post more pictures in a different thread.

I like contrast. I would go with red calipers with white lettering. The red color will immediately contrast to the yellow car body, and your eyes will be drawn to the wheels.

As an example, I posted a pic of my Civic coupe (daily driver). I painted with red G2.

How well does that paint hold up? I had the brakes on my vette powder coated and they were bullet proof.... does the brush show streaks in the paint after it drys?

No it does not show brush marks. It is pretty smooth but not quite as smooth as powder coating. Although the Brembo caliper itself is not totaly smooth. I do not know about durability yet. I have not driven since its been done.

I'd say yellow or nothing at all. Red would give you a McDonald's look and black would blend in too much.
