I was 'low-balling' so not to scare too many people away. This C5F event is going to be super special, because it is The First. But yes, we can all see this growing over the next couple of years. Nothing but people that love muscle cars, and share their excitement about them.

With the Challengers showing up, it just keeps growing and growing.. and in a great way.

I'm glad there are Challengers going. I think they are hot too. Since there are many of you Chally owners going, I will see if my cousin will bring hers!!! Man I hope she does so I don't have to drive alone.

Nothing wrong with a little "friendly" challenge. If anybody on C5 has time maybe you could compile a list of Challengers that could be beat by your Camaro. It could be fun. My is bone stock and will be that way till I see what some of you guys did to your cars and how they run so mine would be an easy win for gsochallenger. Now if my MMA career takes off and I make it big or if I happen to win the lottary I supose I could blow about 30 grand to see to it I stand a chance.l

A little birdie told me that there is a 5th Gen that has been underwraps with a blown 572 in it....I dont know if I would believe that or not I heard it was CGM in color as well...I also heard it has a live axle in it and tons of suspension work etc...don't know if it is true or not though

Damn, I have to say the hell with the business and show up just to see.

I hope you guys post lots of pic's and videos for us guys that can't go.

It sounds like the camaro you speak of has it out back to get that power to the track. I don't know if the challenger has the entire package or not.

That's sweet that you joined their forum and called them out, but in a respectful manner.

I may have to make the trip just to see that car in action. Wait, what car???

i'd feel like a douche showing up to a camaro event in a challenger or mustang or any other car for that matter that isnt a camaro. but i guess if you invited them thats different. Atlanta is a bit too far for me plus my car is asleep for the winter, but i would love to go and hang out and try a few passes against the SS and see how i stack up. didnt get to line up agains any this past summer.

forgive my lazyness on not searching Scrappy

Don't feel like a douche, we are all car lovers. I am looking forward to checking out all the cars and that includes the Challenger. I don't think anybody on this site is going to be an @$$ to those who don't have a Camaro at C5 fest. Come join us and have fun.

It's just a great icon to use. No problem.

Why wouldn't you go? Sure you may catch some friendly banter, but like was mentioned previously, we are all car people. I am not going at this point either as its just too far away.

It would be a great story for you if you go and run against the camaros.
