I will try to take some pics. I have posted in other threads about the fogs. I went with a 25w ballast not 35w for the fogs. So far no problem with heat.

Stupid question but is this for RS headlights or the NON RS headlights?

If its for the RS headlights, doesnt the car already come with HID's or am I missing something?

Sorry for the newbie question.

Hi guys, Here is the link to AAC Style http://www.camaro5.com/forums/member.php?u=13477 They are mebers here too. Justin and his team are great. They will get you the exact info I know it was the 8000 one. My lights are the non RS lights with the new HD replacement bulbs. They do offer replacements for RS to make them even brighter. I do have plans on selling these lights with the Amber Halo's in them as soon as my new ones are done. Check out my Garage I have the afterburner taillights too. Please look at them here. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/camaro...o=view&id=3440

Thanks! I'm also interested in getting these HID replacement bulbs for my 2SS non-RS.

I was looking over on this site too
http://www.bfxenon.com/

But I see a lot of folks on here have a great experience with AAC Style so I might just give them a try too

Here are some pictures of my camaro with the hid lights 6000k head lights and 6000k foglights. I have a v6 ls model and the fog lights have a blue lens thats why the fog lights look so blue. Also sorry for the crappy pictures didn't really have time to take good pics.

Install question

How hard is it to switch out the stock headlights with the HIDs. I'm wanting to get rid of these ugly things.

And Geoff...where'd you get those lights at...I love that red look.

The install from BFXENON for the bulbs is easy. The placement of the balast is the tricky part. You need to find a location fairly close to the headlights to mount them on. Just make sure your grounds are solid when you install. Radiator screws are aluminum and don't provide a solid ground.

Is there a DIY anywhere for switching out the SS lights for the HIDs?

Also what's the highest "k" you can go before the car isn't street legal, ie. aren't the 6000k pushing the limit for being street legal?

Do you mean installing HIDs in non-RS lights? Its pretty simple but there are some DIYs around, we have pics of the process as well we send to customers who are installing themselves.

As for the Kelvin temp, anything over 10,000K is going to be considered "improper equipment" its a $25 fix-it ticket in most states.
