Greetings alsab44....
Back in April when the 2010 Camaro made it's apperance, I pretty much visited every dealer North of Boston into NH. Of course at that time "I'm not paying $3K over list, don't be ridiculous", I soon found out if I wanted a new Camaro, I would have to pay. One dealer, on May 1st, told me, if I order the car and wait I could get it for list. I continued my search and kept getting the $3K over list, that's if the sales people at those dealers would even notice me to talk to me (I'm a 57 year old man, not a kid). So, finally after many months and continued talk with "my" dealer". on July 20th, I went back to "my" dealer. He told me, his allocation was available as of Aug 1st and I would be number 1 and it would take approx 10 weeks to deliver and he would sell it to me at list. This is what he told me in May, June, and July. Never waivered from his offer.

That dealer is Lannan Chevrolet in Woburn, the salesmans name is Ed Shine. I cannot begin to tell you how pleasant an experience it was to buy from them. He kept me informed thru out the build. Lannan has been around a long time, I bought my first car from them in 1969. I highly recommend them and take a ride over and talk to Ed. He's not a hype you kind of guy. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and loves talking about the car.

My opinion? Lannan is the best Chevy Dealer on the North Shore. Haven't had a problem with the car yet (knock on wood), so it hasn't seen the Service Dept yet. Although I've used their service dept for oil changes and they are installing my 4 gauge pkg for me.

I own a 2010 1LT/RS ABM.

Not sure exactly where you are? I bought mine at Durand Chevrolet in Hudson, MA. (northwest of Boston, next to Marlboro) They told me they had an allocation for my order (which they did) I ordered mine the end of April and took delivery on July 1st. Approximately 9 weeks from order to delivery. I paid msrp back then, and I think they may be selling around 1,500-2,000 below msrp now. Great dealership and kept me informed of the progess of my order weekly. Ask for Mark Rebidue Sales Mgr.
See sig. below for progress of the order.

It's NH I know but I'd have to throw MacMulkin Chevy (Nashua) out there- when I had intentions of buying the 1SS they were the only ones who actually tried to help me out and give me a reasonable price.

It's worth the ride. When I had problems with my pre-order and dealer here in NY...I was really close to ordering with MacMulkin.

I also bought from Durand Chevrolet and was very satisfied with the buying experience. Had one on order from another dealer but Durand had my car on the lot - went for the sure thing as ABM was being discontinued and LT RS package was on constraint. Price was about $1650 under MSRP but that included the $500 for waiving the 60-day right to return and also about $440 in GM Card points. No experience yet with the service dept, hopefully won't find out anytime soon (knock wood).

MacMulkin is great! That's where I bought mine from back in August. Not only did they have allocation at the time but they honored my recent grad discount and were all around very pleasant to deal with. Ron is the Camaro/Corvette salesman there. He is very helpful and very knowledgeable.

I did all my dealing online with every dealer in the Northeast. I really like MacMulkin, and wanted to go with them. But, with all the dealers bidding for my business, Commonwealth is the one that beat them all. And, I had a very bad experience with Commonwealth many years ago, but I have to say, they were the best on price by far.

Another vote for MacMulkin. Although I admit I did not price out any other dealers for competive offers. Mostly because I was trading in my 96 LT4 Collector Edition Corvette. I figured they would give me the best trade in value for the vette. But nice place to visit if you like Vettes, they have a nice collection of them. And I got to visit their locked third floor because they stored my CE there.

You will be happy with Macmulkin. Scott, the service manager is great and a Vette/Camaro guy and Ken Howe is a service writer and a member of the East Coast Camaro Club. They will take good care of you.

A note about Quirk in Manchester. I bought a couple of cars from them but the last experience turned me off completely and I doubt I will go back.

The advertised a 2013 Silverado at a price that was great for me. I called and told them I wanted to come and buy it with a trade and gave them details. They said it would be no problem. Went the next day and no truck. They said they only had one and they sold it. Bait and switch. I told them I wanted a similar truck for the same deal. No go. They can't do that they said, they have specials just to try and get people to come. I ended up buying a nice used truck but I should not have.

I got my camaro at Quirk only after Bank's Chevy pissed me off. I may have bought my car there but i'll never go back the incompetence and shadiness of quirk is really disturbing.

Haha! Quirk offered me a set amount on my trade, then immediately dropped it by $3,000 once i showed them the advertised price for their Camaro! Essentially they were offering the trade price only if I wanted to pay MSRP. Once I showed them the discounted price they took it off my trade. I laughed in their face and asked them how stupid they though I was.

Lannan Chevrolet in Lowell took much better care of me. I was able to get a decent deal on the car I wanted. There were also a couple of scratches on my trunk lid upon delivery that they quickly took care of for me. I had to bring it back twice to get it corrected, but each time the managers gave a me a car to use. I would definitely by another car from them.

Now their service department I'm not sure of. I called to see what it would cost to have a new key programmed and they quoted me at a half hour of labor, or about $45. I then called Lannan Chevy in Woburn and the service advisor told me that it would cost me nothing. He even told me how to do it over the phone (whole process takes 5 seconds). On that note alone, i'm going to be using their Woburn location for service.

I would probably use Macmulkin if I go the Camaro for ny next car, but man it's right near the Infiniti dealer and service station where I have had my last two G35X cars for the last decade LOL!!! They will be pissed.
