I'm holding off on this decision myself until they actually publish dyno curves for the K&N intake. There's no real way to know which is better until then. You'd just have to guess.

Ya. I would wait too but I tend to be impatient and if I don't get one soon the money will eventually be gone.

I think that the Airaid kit is the best. Fittment was great. K&N is ok, but I still think the Airaid will perform better for you.

Hello MontyCarlo,

Since "Dyno" numbers will always vary depending a number of factors, there are other things to take into consideration when looking into a CAI.

The Overall Quality of the Components, the Overall Fit & Finish, and most Important what type of air filter is being used? What kind of Airflow and Filtration does it offer?

What kind of Warranty does the Company offer? Are they willing to stand behind the product they sell?

Are all of the Components Made in the USA?

Just a couple of other questions to consider when looking into a CAI.

Thanks,
David

I'm not putting down the airaid intake, but what matters most to me is an intake's effect on HP across the RPM range vs its price, and I can sit tight until I've got that info from your competitor to compare with the info we've got from you. I'm in no hurry. I can't drive my camaro until Iowa thaws out some time around April anyway.

+1 for the Airaid System. I've installed a few systems and the quality, fit/finish and functionality are 2nd to none. I sell both brands but I've got to say the Airaid is a nicer system IMHO. We also have great pricing on these kits as well. If/when you're interested please feel free to call, email or PM me for pricing.

Kind regards,
