Personalized Specs Plate?

Not sure if anybody else is thinking or would consider doing this, but I've been thinking about getting a 2x5" stainless steel plate made (matching colors with the tach and speedo trim, etc) to go just above my glove box on that bare stretch of plastic.

I think I would have it say something like

XANTHOS
2010 LT/RS M6
DDMMMYYYY
#X

Where DDMMMYYYY is the date that the car was produced (thats fairly easy to find, right? Or if not, I could always do the delivery date) as in, today is 16AUG2008. And where X = the number it was off the assembly line.

What do you think?

P.S. - So, for example, if my car was the 57,859th off the assembly line on the 26th of July, 2009 (my 21st birthday, which is when I plan on buying it), it would say:

Not a bad Ideal it would certainly give that empty space some better looks.

Yeah, kinda fill it in a bit. The other good part is that I want the black interior, and my fiance hates the "all black" look - she says its too dark and gloomy. Putting a stainless steel plate right in front of her seat might help that.

That's a great interior idea.

Another one I've been considering is replacing the warning label on the passenger side to something like the Cobalt SS (SC). The Cobalt SS came out with a label warning passengers of the powerful supercharged engine. I'm sure we could come up with some nice warnings for the Camaro.

Yeah, right now my only interior mods that I'm thinking about are the specs plate and metal sill plates (they mentioned it somewhere on the live release day, and I saw it in a few of the pics... let me see if I can dig it back up...)
- Xanthos

P.S. - Found it!

Well, it would be between stainless steel and aluminum - I figured the stainless steel would last longer.

That looks really nice, I'd get that on my Camaro as well.

Agreed, but thats not to say that it doesn't look nice the way it is. It might be a universal piece - does chevy offer it on other cars of theirs?
