Camaro5fest "ID" READ

I have an idea and wanted to see what everyone thought. I have spoken to alot of you on here but only know you by user ID. I thought it would be a good idea to come up with somewhere on our cars to show our user ID so that we can recognize each other. Maybe a simple card on the dash or something. Just wanted your thoughts and ideas as it would be nice to identify people you have talked too.

Smart thinkin! Some car and name tags would be great for this. Name tags could include username and First name below the user.

How about someone make a card (8.5x11) for the Camaro5 members just like they give you to put on your dash when you go to car show & shine events. We can picked them up at the event or better yet have it made like the Camaro5.com Cards in PDF so that we can print our own and just add our car info on it.

My license plate is my screen name, would that work?

Doesn't matter as it looks like I will not make the trip, and it is killing me!

Great Idea !!! Perhaps the C5Fest sign-in number could be listed as well. I am number 180. Just a suggestion, take it or leave it.

I posed this question in the Discussion Thread and I believe it was Spike who told me that, they are thinking of something similar to name tags.

What about someone who flies in? I like the idea of name tags with user name/real name. I really don't want to display anything in a rental car. We need to come up with something that will identify who's who.

May as well keep this simple:

Car tag: 8 x 11 (like suggested above)

C5 Username: Brokinarrow
First Name: Aaron
Home State: Iowa

Personal tag: 2 x 3 with the same info as the car tag. Who's got some photo shop skills that wants to create a draft?

love the idea with the 8x11 car tag. If you have a draft, people could print off before coming. This way, if they wanted to list their mods or additional info, they could.

There needs to be stick on tags that we can put on our shirts. Either that or pin on. It's okay to have tags on the car but it would be like...okay here is herkman's car but where and who is he.

gotcha covered. I'm thinkin pin ons for the personal name tags? Some people may not want the sticker to muck up their shirt (if they decide to wear something nice for instance)

I just kept the design simple, modified the C5Fest Staff tags that the mods have been using.

could you incorporate the C5F stuff instead of just C5 into it?

and also add a line on the car sheet for the model type (1LT, 1SS, 2SSRS, etc)?
