V6 1/4 mile Fast Thread

Rules:
In proposing submissions for inclusion on the list, please follow these simple rules or your submission will NOT be considered.
#1. Post the details of your quarter-mile pass using this template: (cut and paste)

#2. Times that may qualify for the top-10 in each category require posting of an image of the time slip. If you lack the ability to post an image, ask for help.

#3. Track times will not be corrected for weather or track altitude. Those elements can be noted in the comment portion of the submission to clarify the conditions under which the run was made.

#4. All members are invited to submit his/her times on this thread. The top 20 or so for each category will be included in the Fast List. Only one pass per member will be included on the Fast List.

#5. In the event two members submit an ET identical to the hundredth of a second, the tiebreaker is the higher mph. In the event that this is still a tie, the tiebreaker will fall to 60' time.


***** Rule #2. "time slip" means full time slip. Must include date/time of the pass and customarily includes identification of the track issuing the slip.

For now there will be four lists:
1) Bone Stock (including stock tires)

2) Stock (entirely stock except tires)

3) Bolt Ons

4) Power Adders (superchargers, turbo chargers, and nitrous).

Additionally: for the Bone Stock list, only each poster's fastest time will be included in the list. For all other lists, any run made using a different combination of modifications will be included as long as it ranks among the top times.

Like Beauwulf, i found i get my best times by leaving TC on and then flashing the converter..

It was suggested - and I agree - that we should include transmission in the listings. I know that both scrming and beauwulf have automatics, but I can't remember for the life of me which transmission 67 has.

Not that I have my car yet, but the closest drag strip to me is about 3hrs away. And even then you can only go on certain nights none of which I will likely be able to get to. You are all lucky to have them nearby. I have never been to a strip, or owned a car that would be good on a drag strip....so I hope to get to one at least once when I get my camaro but who knows.

Anyway keep the times coming.
