Nice run man! Get that 60' to 2.0 or lower and you'll be in high 13 range pretty easy.

Indeed it will, as soon as the weather breaks, Here in Michigan the local track opened a month early last year. Which could be 15 days from now, if we go with last year weather.

Very consistant, but frustrating I am sure.

What track were you at? tempature? What size wheels and tires are your using now? We have plenty of people here who will help with advice.

I agree with those mods you should see 13.'s

I was at Atco Raceway, it was about 35 degrees. I am running Hankook Ventnus V12's 255/45/20 on the rear and 245's on the front. PSI was about 32. Now I don't have the sway bars installed yet. But I do a real nice burnout and it doesn't feel like im spinning off the line.

One of the issues I can see is the tire size. Those are approx. 0.4" taller which will change your gear ratio. Changing it from the stock ratio of 3.23 to a new gear of 3.19. Next issue is still the tires, those are summer tires and I am sure they did not like that cold temperature for trying to hook up. The enigne loved the cold air, but not the tires and traction. I would try again when it gets to about 50 degrees, best of both world's for tires and engine. Redcue the rear tire PSI even lower trying as low as 28.

Will try again this weekend, should be in the 50's hopefully weather people arent too assuring. But I was in the market looking for nitto Invo tires without changing the rim what spec should I consider?

And if you are still having problems, try an aftermarket torque converter.

What wheels are you currently running?

I researched for 18 months for my wheel/tire combination to perform for all the duties I will ask from them. Still ended up with drag radials for track days.

Here is what I found from Tirerack.com on those tires.

"However like all summer tires, the Ventus V12 evo is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice."
