I wanna go LT1 Style SS Hood...Trufiber quit making them AIT does em for 499 but everybody complains about fitment.

I have a sweet LS1 SS hood, but apparently those wanting it dont have the flow to pay for it. People in the 505 broke? No way.

So as it sits now, car needs a fascia. Either way. I have stock LT hoods all day but Im not gonna.paint a hood twice so id like to get one before I shoot color.

Car also needs a drivers fender...cracked :(

So if I go LT1...fascia, fender, ss hood
LS1...fascia, fender x 2, hood hinges, lower fascia/fog supports

Good thing about LS style would be plentiful and cheap body parts at the wreckers.

Id rather LT1 style it up...just need to find a hood that fits well and a buyer for the LS hood.

Clear as mud? Lol.

We all know LT SS> LS SS....

Appreciate the eye out there for parts bros.

Yeah brotha. Im gonna hit that up before I decide anything. Aint been there in forever and I know.they flip inventory pretty quick too

For sure id like to roll down that way soon. See what they got. For sure swapping The dash out. Already scored a speedo setup that I needed. The consoles are tricky to find there. Almost always jacked up when you do find em.

Line lock is the easiest install I have done and best $149(ish, can't remember for sure) bucks I have ever spent.

The kit is complete and bolts right up. Hardest part is bleading the breaks and with the brembo's that is cakewalk as well. The blender valve is on the front where you don't even have to take the rims off...

You will have no problems with it. My only suggestion is maybe look into different switches if you want. The ones they provide are okay (I still use them), but there are better ones available that are cheap.

Hey Ivan, If you go the LS1 route, I have a front facia from a 2000 I have been storing for about 12 years. Don't ask why...
It is Rally Red, and has a small crack near one of the turn signals. It was replaced on a car that was about 6 months old. The place I worked at didn't do body work, just remove and replace. If you need it, it's yours.

That part out car looks like a guy I used to deliver to on Delores and Glenrio out of the 105. LOL. Hopefully it is. I think both cars are the same...telephone number looks that way.

Thanks and I'll let ya know asap!

Gonna have to buy you a Supersized Dr Pepper or something....lol Thanks again for the lead Brotha.

I'm excited to get moving on that car. It's really just a matter of appearance and small crap now. Would like to get a 6 or 8 point cage in it before paint too but if I don't, no biggie. Just think it would look great painted the same color as the car.

Hoping everybody is having a great Friday...I know a couple of us are running on fumes this morning but it's all in good efforts of gaining horsepower and awesomeness this week.

Anybody got plans this weekend?
