3.91 GM gears install prices?

I just got a quote from LMR (parts and labor) For installing some GM 1LE gears (3.91) on my 2010 camaro ss (6 speed) It is $1,250 out the door. Is this a fair price or do you guys recommend someone else?

I'm looking for someone here in houston tx to do the work.

Thx for your input

The $1250 included the price of the gears, complete install kit, Fluid and R&R of the center chunk and setup of the ring and pinion. Plus any tuning he needed.

I'd say that was a great price.

Sounds good to me. Besides a company that is on the forum, to me, shows a good sign.

Id check with Andy at ADM Performance in Carrolton. Yes it's a drive for you but I know he does a full pumpkin swap that has been built and new gears and everything already set up by RPM. You drive there, He swaps your diff in about 2hrs and keeps your stock diff. I know he could go way cheaper than that price.
The only catch is he is not taking any customers until after the Texas Mile. He is swamped.

I'm exited to do this upgrade! Can't wait to see how it turns out with.

I got mine done at ADM for less than $800. If Andy won't answer your email, he is probably working on cars. He usually answers his phone when you call unless his hands are full. Try and call him at (214) 228-8782, you won't be sorry and you will save over $400

Bringing back an old thread hoping to get some answers..
My dealer quoted me $1600 (including parts) to install the ring and pinion kit, all new bearings, etc.
When you guys say you got it total at 1250, are you including bearings and all that? Or only ring and pinion? Trying to find out if this is a fair deal. I called another local shop who is relatively close (most differential shops are about an hour away from me and only open Monday through Friday and with my job I cannot do that, I need to stay relatively close) and they quoted me 1500 and said it would take them a few days (read online it only takes 5-7 hours for a professional) so them saying it'll take a few days makes me worry that they don't know what they are doing.
Is 1600 for everything mentioned a fair deal, a rip off? Opinions?

Thanks

Bump is he still doing this?

I know obviously it's best to call, but I figured I'd try here first.
