Rockford Fosgate or Kicker?

Just wondering what you opinions are on Rockford Fosgate Punch vs. Kicker CVR subs. Dont have a lot of money to spend on expensive subs. Thanks!

I dunno. Im getting a subthump stealth box and they sell kickers. Everyone around here is always talking about the Punch speakers so I dunno what to get. Im not looking to blow out the windows, just a good sound unless a buddy wants me to turn it up, then I want it to hit.

well hey my buddy has an older set of the fosgate comp 10" subs with an amp up for sale. let me know if you are interested.

also they are older i mean 2006 or 07 model but he never really used them. it was to much power for his alternator and kept blowing fuses so he just left them in the car for looks. so they are still good practically brand new. pm me and we can talk prices. will work with you on the price just let me know your range and i will talk to him.

I'd stay away from both Rockford and Kicker neither make product like they used to. Go to a reputable shop and listen to it before you buy it. Only you know how it should sound for you.

I was using th Kicker comp CVR I bought them from crutchfield, they we running a buy one get one free. So you should check them out. The CVR's were nice but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. The hit but not as quite as hard as other subs out there. So the price point is good for a starter sub, you can get some older model new JL audio, JBL's for around the same price. So look online.

i like RF, i never had any problems with my punch, yes kicker is a good brand as well, you need to go into a store and listen to both and see which you prefer. Its all about preferences.

flexibility in wiring, depending on your amp load requirements..

definitely not kicker. they dont go boom they go blaaaaa blaaaaa blaaaaa. they just make a bass tone thats loud, not musical. I wish JL was still in the US, they were the top of the line as far as im concerned. Look for Memphis, Vibe, Focal (if you can afford it), RE. Just please PLEASE dont buy kicker. Im not a big fan of RF either, they are super stiff woofers and take way more power then they should to move. Ive been doing this 12 years and have seen a LOT of subs come and go.JL W7's rank above pretty much anything, but they are big, and expensive. 1 10W7 usually will outdo most dual 12" setups.
