The brake light works off of the turn signal, you would have to go into the 3rd brake light to get pure brake signal.

So, in essence, with the dual-intensity circuit installed, you will always have the bowtie blinking with the right turn signal but not the left.

I'm not very good with understanding circuits (I'm a civil engineer, not an electrical ), but would there be a way to have the bowtie tap off the left turn signal in addition to the right without causing a short between the left and right lamps?

You would wire the brake input into the 3rd brake light to avoid the turn signal interruption.

Hmm...do you happen to know if that's accessible from the trunk? I'll have to crawl in there later today after work...

I Love my LED Bow Tie!!!

I just wanted to let you all know that I visited Deerfield Tire in Deerfield, IL today. I had them put in the LED Bow Tie from Advanced Automotive Concepts. What I was particularly impressed that they took the time to wire it to the center back light. This took a while to do trying to figure out the most effective way to reach it… along with which wire to use. This makes all of the difference!!

I know that the Technician at Deerfield Tires, Deerfield IL got into the back seat and finally got access to the center light. I believe that he removed the side Sorry I did not take a picture there really wasn't much room back there. I know that when he did find the wires he tested which one was the correct one and made the connection. I will reach out to the tech to get better insight. (Sorry I was not next to him the whole time)

If you are hooking up with the brake lights as well it is easier to access that wire through the trunk. I will take a picture showing this for you guys.

Just a heads up to everyone I am not going to be around until Monday. I will be on a business trip to LX Fest in Cali (its like Camaro 5 Fest for Mopars) until Monday. I am not sure if I will have an internet connection to check the forums but I can get my email on my phone. If anyone has anything that can not wait until Monday please email me justin@aacstyle.com or call the store 1(800)407-5776.

We at Deerfield Tire used the third brake light wire which is located on the passenger side by the small window in the side pillar. There is a plug that plugs in to the rear deck that powers the light. Sorry I do not have pictures.

OK, maybe I wired this wrong. The colors didn't match what I found at the passenger side connectors. I wired it there, maybe it should have went before that spot?

So, the driving lights come on fine as well as the brakes light. brake light isn't that much brighter, but it still looks cool. Only thing is since the driving lights ARE the same as the turn signal, my bowtie blinks with the right turn signal

Doesn't really bother me, it's just the way it came out. I really like how it looks!!

Check this link - http://web.me.com/dolphsantorine/Site_3/Bumble_Bee.html - look for this link - Instructions to mount the Web Electric BLP-1 in the 2010 Camaro - its to a pdf which shows how to access where the 3rd Brake light wiring is located. Its NOT accessible via the trunk unless Justin found a way to it, pdf shows you have to remove the rear seat and rear passenger side panel.
