SAE corrected or uncorrected?

The reason I ask is because I dropped from 249hp (uncorrected) to 240hp using SAE correction.

Either way, looks like a nice gain across the board with this CAI kit. May have to consider it in the future.

Agreed...I'd consider it also. But that will be a while so in the meantime I hope to hear some reviews from you early order guys! Don't skip out on us!

Not sure, uncorrected I'd wager. I need to get copies of all his dynos so I can post them up (he's got a bunch of before and afters from installing all his mods). I've tried to get him to post them on here but he's technologically impared, lol.

But functional. So you may not want buy this if your car is going to be sitting around with the hood up more than it is on the road.

I'm guessing he's thinking an independent, privately owned car doing a before and after...

Injen sent me information today too. I also spoke to them. They stress that this intake is tuned and that the fuel/air mixture is maintained to factory spec. I'm not a motor head but I like what I heard.

Just to be sure, are you saying 1)they recommend a tune to go along with this? 2) Or that they are saying they have it designed so that it won't lean out the mixture too much and the customer's car won't end up re-calibrating itself back to factory specs? (in a nutshell, we won't lose the initial gains)

I thinking you meant #1 but just making sure!

I read it that the INTAKE was tuned to the cars specs, so no tune (to the car) would be required. That makes sense, specially for the V6 that does not have multiple gas maps. So far all talking with Injen have favorable reports....Just like to hear from a person that has one installed!!
