Muffler Delete in North NJ?

Anyone know of a good shop in North New Jersey to do a muffler delete?

I think I'm going to go with http://www.ttperformance.net/ for my muffler delete.

From Wayne, it's like 10 minutes. From Bergen County, where I'm from, it's like 25. They look really experienced. They fabbed a custom turbo for a 5th gen camaro, so a muffler delete shouldn't really be that hard for them.

just spoke to them, said it would be about $100 for parts (pipe) and labor and worst case is $200 (Depending on how long it takes to take the exhaust off from the cat back). Now I'm just working out a time/day to take it

Why would they need to take the exhaust off after the cats. I thought for the muffler deletes, you just cut just before the muffler and slap in new tail pipe with tip.

you do just cut it off and put in a straight pipe. but if there isn't enough clearance above the pipe to weld in the new piece (which he would have to see for himself, since he hasn't done that on a new Camaro), then he would have to take the pipe off to not have to weld toward the floorboard.

Did they need you to drop the car off for a day? or is it a drop off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon deal?

I just had mine done at Midas in Sayreville for $100. Took the guy a little over an hour and did a great job. No need to drop the exhaust, he was able to weld it just fine while still on the car. Only thing he had to weld off the car was the tip which I reused.

I love the sound. Instantly got my blood pumping when I rolled on the throttle.
