What size rims do I need for 315 tires

As the title says what size rim would I need to be able to fit 315's?

You can get away with it on a 10 inch wheel. I am running 315 nitto invos on my 10 inch wide TSW Nurburgring. Now, just because I'm running that does not mean that's a preferred size. I will be the first to admit that a 10.5 or an 11 inch would be a much better fitting wheel. If I had the option to do things all over again with wheels, I would shoot for no less than a 10.5 to 11 inch wheel for 315's.

10.5-12" is what I've seen recommended for that size for most of the major brands of tires.

18"? 19"? What profile?

Most tires will start at 10.5", and will go up to 11.5" or even 12", but it all depends on brand AND the exact tire size. If you have a high profile tire, for instance, it might have a narrower recommended range to take the additional flex from the profile into account.

Just figure out which tire you'd go with, and check out its specs.
