Im looking to put 21x9 (front) and 21x11 (rear) on my new Camaro. I noticed that you listed 265/35-21 and 315/30-21 sizes available with respective 28.3 and 28.4 heights. What tire manufacturers do you recommend I go with and what would be my costs for these tires?

If I go with a slightly wider 19" wheel it will fit when driving straight... but will it rub when turning the wheel? Say instead of the 245/50R19 I go with 265/45R19 will they rub when turning? Basically, I just want to know how deep the wheel well is.

a lot of people are using the 275/40 on a 10" wheel. i have them and they are fine.

Yes, a 10" wheel will work with a 275 tire. It just isn't a "recommended" size combo, by just barely. The widths above are not rules, just suggestions based on aesthetic sidewall reasons and ease of mounting.

I don't want to answer for Tony, but I have not been able to track down a tire wider than the 295/35/21. This is an OEM size for some Audi model and is available from at least Pirelli and Michelin...there may be other manufacturers. I think 21" is the ideal wheel size for the Camaro, we just need to get the tire manufacturers to bring out a 305 or 315.

Kilo is correct, tire sizes (widths) are very limited with 21s. 21" tires also cost a lot more than 20s or 22s do. Sometimes you can find a rear 21 tire, but no corresponding front tire that matches it in brand. Less headaches and frustration to stick with 20s or 22s, in my opinion. Should be fine ~ even the stock V6 wheels are enormous, I doubt you'd feel a difference.

Hard to tell from the pictures but looks like he put a little bit wider than stock...if anything it'll help a little with curves and such. Had to get wider tires for my Trailblazer cuz they didn't have the standard size and I felt a lot better handling on it. Hope this helps!

FWIW, Michelin now offers their Pilot Sport PS2 in 305/30/21! Previously, I hadn't been able to find a 21" tire wider than a 295...

There was a guy who did 20x10+ on all 4 corners here in LA, I remember him getting his coilovers installed and wheels mounted at Haddad Motorsports here in LA... I believe he ran 295's all around, but they poked a little in the front.

For road racing, you may want to step down to 18s to get decent tires. I'd probably just go with the factory tires and burn those off for now.

If this has been answered, my apologies, but the search function doesn't always give the results I'm looking for. I have a few questions:

1- I am having my car lowered next week and I'm currently running the stock 20" RS wheels. Will the 21 or 22" sizes listed in the first post work ok with my Pfadt sport suspension+ or would those sizes not work? (I mean even when I turn, I occasionally need to turn!)

2- Does a larger tire size (21 or 22) reduce the performance of the car?

3- If there is a list of recommended tire sizes for a dropped car, I'd love to see it!
