Nine Ball . . .

It is coming to time to replace the original tires on the 2010 2SS/RS . . .

What is the biggest tire I can get on those stock rims . . . I have not changed the suspension from stock and don't plan to . . . I'm weird . . . I like the stock rims.

But, would like to max out the tire size on them without rubbing.

You seem to be in the know, Bro! I will be ordering from our sponsor.

1lt and ss wheels

hi all. will SS wheels and tires (245/45/20 and 275/40/20) fit on a 1LT (245/45/18 all around)? the info I have says they will but I'm just trying to make sure. Also, are the lug nuts the same? Dumb questions I know but help is appreciated.....

I drive a lot and do not want to lower the car due to clearance.. what size tire can i go with that give the apearance of having the car lowered, in other words, higher/taller to kinda fit in the wheel well better. I cannot go wider as you can see on the pics as reference.

I hope i'm making sense, thanks.

Would a 235/65/18 snow tire fit with a 18x8 rim? or does that become to tall?

Tony, great info. If I wanted to install the following tires on my stock wheels, which are 0.5" wider than recommended, what would be the biggest issue, sidewall appearance? I see that the rear tire would be a little more than 0.5" shorter than the stock rear also. I would like to stay with the stock 8" and 9" wheels, but want to go a little wider on the tires. I don't want to push it though.

265/40-20 = 28.4" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
295/35-20 = 28.1" tall, 9.5-10.5 wheel

thanks

Noticing the same thing. Give it time. I am hoping that Michelin Pilot A/S will come out soon. These P-zero's will be lucky to last a year.

245/45 fronts, 275/40 rears are stock. You're going to have more trouble finding tires than anything else. I'm going to save the stock rims for snow tires, and order a set of Forgestar F14's in gunmetal for my summer tires. I plan on going with 275/40 on 9" rims for the front and 305/30 on 11" in the rear.

So what your saying for the Front 20x8 and Rear 20x9 would be this?

But then that wouldn't match be two different sets of tires making it look weird O_o

However, this is the exact set up I am running with the Nitto NT05's and it works for me. My car is lowered about 1.5" also. I did buy these rims to run 285's all around but couldn't find any tires in that size that I wanted to run. I think you may run into rubbing issues running a 305 up front.

I am getting 20x10s for all four with an offset of +35 and will be mounting 275/40z. should work? ill get different tires later but for now this is what i got to work with. is there any problem i am not seeing? i did try to create a new thread for the question but i dont have privalidges for that yet i guess haha

I have this wheel the Bravado Americana 20x9.5 on all corners I would like to go a little wider than 245/45/20 and still remain within the 3% tolerance that is recommended on 1010 tires website. Can anyone that has knowledge of this little problem and could possibly recommend a tire size that will keep me within that 3% range.
I am not interested in what you are running and this or that will work but a definite answer from a tire guru.Sorry guys I am not being rude but I am having surgery next week and would love to get this sorted out because I will not be able to drive my car for about 4 weeks.

Hey i have a 2010 2SS and i just put my first set of winter wheels and tires on it...i went down from the stock 245/45 20s and 275/40 20s to 295/45/19 on all fours is that ok? because the list on the first page has 295/40/19 recommended..will it have any problems?

Hello everyone, Did anyone change their stock tires on their 2SS and replaced them with wider tires on stock wheels? If so what size tires did you go with?

285/30 works on the rear too... it's a healthy size tire that still fits the OEM 21 width... what's not to like?
