Question Wait Time

Going to order a CGM 2LT next week & am curious as to what kind of wait time folks are experiencing. Now (before the sale) the dealer is saying 6-8 weeks. Has anyone ordered a CGM V6 this year? What wait times are they telling you? Also I see in some signatures where it looks like guys were able to track their order. Like 1100-order placed....2100-order sent to factory, etc.
do all dealers give you a way to check status like this? Thanks

My car took 10 1/2 weeks from the day I placed my order until I took delivery. (Nov. 9 to Jan. 23).

...and you had the holiday shutdown in there. 6-8 weeks is pretty standard now that the Camaro is in the "routine" production mode just crunching them off the line like M&M's. I was 45 days from acceptance at 2000 to shipping at 4200. The wild card is transit time via rail and car carrier.
