new era OTR CAI installed

well as the title says i got my new era otr cai, which i purchased from bumblebeecamro, the install was straight forward and simple. It took a grand total of 15 min to do. I just wanted to post here and let anyone know that if they are holding out on getting one of these because of all the negative things they have heard about these (herky jerkies) and drivabily issues. They are not true. after install i let my car idle for 10 min and then took a short 20 mile drive around town and my car never once had even the slightest hiccup. I love this cai and recommend it to anyone. Great product New era! OBTW you can really feel a seat of the pants difference with this thing on, and it the only mod other than muffler delete that i have.

How does it get the air? I have looked above the radiator and the bulkhead in front of and above the radiator is solid. Where does the air come from to go down the intake mouth?

no i do not have a tune just the cai and muffler delete. The radiator is moved towards the engine about 2 to 3 inches and held in place by 2 brackets on the cai. that opens up the area in front of the radiator for the air to get up to the intake.

Sweet! Don't mind me asking how much? This may have just became my preferred choice of intake.

Does anyone know what type of filter this uses and how often it would have to be changed? Is it a dry or wet filter?

Do you have to drill or modify the car during the installation process?
