Stuck In Buffalo, NY???

I've been tracking my car's progress like a hawk, as I imagine many other here have done. Tuesday, my car started it's trek to it's new home.

I tracked it from Oshawa to Hamilton to Port Robinson to Fort Erie and lastly to Buffalo, NY. Now, CSX says "Delivered to Interchange", and it's been stuck at that status now for almost 2 days. I tried tracking through Pacific Union, but they have no record of the RAIL #. So...anyone know what's happens at Buffalo? Will it stay there for days? Am I supposed to track now using a different system?

Help! I feel so disconnected from my new car's progress. (Hehehe I'm obsessed I know).

My car was stuck at the rail yard in Dearborn for a week before it got on the truck to Ohio. But, when it left Dearborn, it arrived in Ohio the next morning. I think it just depends on when they have a full load coming in your direction. Good luck.

Interchanging can take 3 days just to get the car from one railroad to the other. Once CSX has it the car they will set on a train by destination. They like to run trains of at least 50-60 cars. If your train only 30 cars it will sit for a bit longer till more traffic adds up. They will sometimes combine two short trains into one, but sometimes those trains will only run once a week. Unless the car has been sitting for over two weeks the delays are normal railroad business!

Tekkguy it's on it's way, just be patient. From buffalo it's still got to go to new jersey before it can come to long island. I'd say next week it should probably be heading home

I see you are from LI too. And your Production date was 3 days before mine. Did you get yours already? Or are you waiting too?

I was in your shoes about 10 days ago. I know how you feel. Keep the faith. All this frustration will be gone when you see it for the first time. Good luck!
