Got the VIN, average train times, fellas?

Hey people that drive awesome cars, hehe

i received my VIN yesterday, which is a fantastic update before going out and have a few brews.
My question to you all is, is the average time after the car is finished about 1 week to get to your dealership?
I know there can be minor setbacks, but im just asking to see how long it took to receive word that your Camaro was at the dealership?

Thanks...

From the time mine left the factory (8/4) and went on the train the next day it was over 2 weeks to get to my Ct dealer (8/21). That was the worst part of the wait for me so I know what you are going through. I hope that the transport time is better now than last summer.
If I can ask what's the last 6 of your vin- are they over 80,000 yet ?.

It really comes down to how fast they fill up the train/truck, and then how far away your dealer is. I know my dealer is super close to one of the first drop points (Dearborn), so it should only be a maximum of 2 weeks for me.

well somewhere between 2 weeks to 1 month.......normally closer to 1 month. but once the train is filled up, to get to YOUR location will be about 1 week. Once it gets to you area for offload. it could take a few days, or up to a week or two, depending on how many cars your dealers needs to get picked up. as they will wait to fill up a truck or most of a truck load before they have a carrier pick them, it all boiled down to MONEY. I don't live that far from you, and it took my car 1 month from the time it rolled off the line, till it arrived at my dealer. My car was loaded in a few day of it beeing ready, and only sat at the rail yard for two day after it arrived and then picked up for delivery to the dealer.
